Bonn Stockert 25m Telescope

Located on a 435-meter-high hill in Bad Münstereifel, west of Bonn, Germany. Now operated as a historical site and open to the public.

Previously operated by the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy before the Radio astronomical Institute of Bonn University took over.

For a few weeks it was the largest telescope in the world, before the Westerbork Radio Synthesis Telescope (WSRT) went into operation in the Netherlands.
